Gloria stole the show with her singing, when she heard the music the words just came back and she gave a moving duet of "Besame Mucho" with Ray. Then she did a couple of more songs and we all had a great time.
Gloria a Star in her own right was a showstopper with her singing and showmanship, the simple gifts that we brought made the residents so happy, seeing their eyes light up, and enjoying this quality time together was such an honor, you have enriched my life with the experience and you took care of us when we were vulnerable. We shall not forget you and we will always make time for you because you are so special!

Thank You Laurine of Key West Karaoke for helping make this day a success , and thank you Olga, activities director for caring so much, the care, attention and love you give these people, you would think that they were your family.
Elder Abuse's own Webmaster belts out a tune for the benefit of the residents, when one of the residents took the mike and spoke about how long and monotonous their day is and how much fun they had and how much they appreciated that we remembered them, had us fighting back tears.
KWCC has close to 100 residents, and to get a lot of them in the cafeteria, feed them, bring them refreshments, talk to them , you really need a huge effort. Olga you were amazing!
