Clara returned to the U.S. to a hero's welcome to flowers and a tour of the Everglades , Clara returned to face the people in court that put her in (4) four nursing homes and as many hospitals while stealing her CD's ,Bond Accounts,Stock Accounts and Transferring her property out of her name while rendering her incapacitated by neglectful abandon.

Clara survived the internment of four nursing homes, against her will when she was doped over and beyond what a person her age is able to tolerate and left alone in a hotel room.

Clara was told that since there were no signs of physical abuse it was civil matter, financial elder abuse not being considered a crime worth prosecuting, and year to date the elder Clara has to date spent over $150,000 in legal fees for what has been referred to as "playing cat and mouse games' with her alledged abusers and in fighting the court system to stay out of nursing homes.
