Oregon Jumping on the Bandwagon Against Elder Financial Abuse

Oregon Bankers Association announces 'Elder Financial Abuse Prevention' kit

the OBA and DHS recently conducted a series of free trainings around the state on how banks can help prevent elder financial abuse.

The trainings and the kit are the latest efforts in a decade-long outreach program aimed at reducing financial crimes against Oregon seniors.

"Preventing financial abuse of the elderly continues to be a top priority of the Oregon banking community," said Linda W. Navarro, president and chief executive officer of the Oregon Bankers Association.
