Senator Ronda Storms on the Forefront Waging War Against Abuse

The Senate Children, Families and Elder Affairs Committee is planning hearings in Tallahassee, Tampa and Miami to review the effectiveness of legislation passed this year to strengthen monitoring of child abuse and neglect cases. Specific dates for the hearing have not been confirmed, but a letter from committee chairwoman Ronda Storms, R-Brandon, said the meetings are intended to air concerns by families, foster parents, adoption agencies and service providers.
